Rules:
- One
Person
Per
Room Only
- Rooms are single occupancy
only.
Curfews:
- We do not have
curfews and do not monitor
the comings and goings of residents.
Guests:
- You can have a
guest
visit, come to
dinner, and "hang out" - but you must be with
your guest.
Guests
are not permitted to come and go
independently.
- Overnight
guests, however, are not permitted,
except
spouses and spouse surrogates traveling from a long
distance (such
as from Europe) for a very short
stay. Visiting
spouse
must
be authorized and paid for in advance. There is a
$10/night fee for
authorized
overnight guests; unauthorized overnight guests
(people sneaking in)
are
charged $35/night.
Ambiance:
- The house is
quiet.
Residents are focused
on serious pursuits.
This is not a "party" environment.
Possessions:
- Residents are
expected to keep their
personal possessions inside their rooms and to not
clutter up the
common
area with boxes or other things. Furniture stays in
the rooms and
cannot be
moved
to other rooms or to storage.
Cleaning Up:
- Residents are
expected to clean up
after their use of the kitchen and bathroom, and to
clean
their own rooms.
Quiet:
- Residents are
expected to be
considerate of other
residents, including
being especially quiet when people are sleeping.
Official quiet hours
are
11 pm to 7 am. There are no parties, except with
prior approval.
Smoking:
- There is no
smoking permitted inside
the building.
Pets:
- No pets are
permitted
in the building
and cannot visit or be kept on the premises.
